Yasmin Aishah is a UK based multidisciplinary artist with primary focus on the visual arts. The artist uses a variety of materials to celebrate the organic and under-recognised human form, using her work to empower people to feel seen and represented.

Yasmin has created illustration-based projects to explore the world of the male-gaze, women in pornography and the pure vulnerability of being a woman. She highlights important details and features of the female form that women are often told are undesirable, viewing them as an object of beauty she makes them the subject of her paintings. There is particular interest in plus-size women and the way in which they are perceived by today's 'standards' and the inclusivity of the 'Body Positivity' movement.

Alongside her visual work, Yasmin is a performer and director of majority-led experiential theatre company ExploreTheArch Ltd. She is also part of the Mentee Programme for early-career freelance artists that work together annually to create 'ATownExploresABook' throughout the local communities of St. Leonards and Hastings (UK).
